New TV Channel “Koala”

Time Warner Cable, Comcast, and Dish Network have all announced today that they are picking up a new upstart channel, “Koala.” Executives said Koala would feature video footage of Koalas in their natural habitat with live coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Koala’s are notoriously known for sleeping 18-hours a day. 1st day viewership is expected to be around 13 million with 12 million being the season average. DirectTV said that they will closely monitor Koala’s success to decide if they will pickup the upstart. Time Warner, Comcast, and Dish have all declined to disclose licensing fees.
